Multidisciplinary Working

• Established dedicated adult and pediatric nephrology department with ICU and advanced facilities.
• 18 HD stations with 24x7 services including CRRT, plasmapheresis, hemoperfusion, automated peritoneal dialysis, CAPD, and pediatric hemodialysis.
• Developed renal transplant unit with twin OT; performed regular transplantation.

• Continued free-of-cost dialysis and renal transplantation with free drug supply through state government.

1. Progression of CKD from AKI following snake envenomation markers for risk stratification (Dept. of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal).
2. ALIGN Study: Phase 3 randomized double-blind placebo-controlled study of Atrasentan in IgA nephropathy at risk of progressive loss of renal function.
3. DREAM ND: Desidustat in anemia due to non-dialysis dependent CKD (Phase 3).
4. TANGIBLE: Urgent Translational Glomerulonephritis Biology Network studies on primary glomerular disease (Co-PI).
5. DREAM D: Desidustat in anemia due to dialysis dependent CKD (Phase 3).
6. REMIT Trial: Randomized trial of obinutuzumab/calcineurin inhibitor vs corticosteroid plus cyclophosphamide in primary membranous nephropathy.
7. Phase 3 study: Ferric pyrophosphate citrate via dialysate to maintain hemoglobin in CKD patients on hemodialysis (ICR/21/010).
8. Phase 3 study: Study treatment with systemic antibiotics for catheter-related or central line associated bloodstream infection.
